Here in Quetico Park
(to the tune of the Gilligan’s Island theme song)

Sit right down and you’ll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started on this rocky isle aboard three Wenonah ships
Our Nate was a mighty paddling man, the interpreter strong as birch
The rescue crew embarked right then for
A three hour search
A three hour search

The wind continued blowing strong
The small canoes were tossed
If not for the courage of the rescue crew
It would have been a great cost
It would have been a great cost

The canoe was sunken in a cove, slightly out of view
The rescue crew searched far and wide and were down to the very last clue
The sun broke through, the wind died down
There was our canoe

We’re glad we brought our prayer book, we prayed Muslim, Christian and Jew
We recovered our canoe that day, our adventure made its mark
We packed the canoes and continued our trek…
